Eric and Erikah are passionate about helping people, marriages, and families flourish through the hope of the gospel and intentional discipleship. Married since 2003, they have partnered together in ministry, counseling, and raising their three children—now teenagers. In 2013, they planted The Brook, a multi-ethnic church in Chicago, where they continue to lead, teach, shepherd, and care for their community.
Eric is the Lead Pastor at The Brook, an Affiliate Professor of Pastoral Theology at Trinity Evangelical Divinity School, and the author of Christ Is Yours and Unexpected Jesus (Lexham Press). He earned his BA from Moody Bible Institute and his MDiv and PhD from Trinity Evangelical Divinity School.
Erikah earned her BA from Moody Bible Institute and her MA in Mental Health Counseling from Trinity Evangelical Divinity School. She serves clients in private practice, integrating wisdom, compassion, and clinical care in her work.
