It’s the time of year when cruise preparations really ramp up and we have some important updates for you!

This Month’s Updates

Love Like You Mean It's Got Talent 2026
Back by popular request, the guest talent show is returning in 2026!

• Who can enter? Only Love Like You Mean It Cruise guests may enter. You can enter as an individual, a couple, or a group (a maximum of 6 people).
• What acts are allowed? Singing, comedy, instrumental music, ventriloquism, dancing, illusions, impressions, juggling, etc.. No fire or flammable items, and the act must be able to be performed on a moving ship. There can be nothing flammable.
• How do I audition?
  • Submit an audition recording with THIS AUDITION FORM no later than November 2nd.
  • The audition should not be over 2 minutes long. If you are chosen to perform onboard in the finals, your act can be up to 4 minutes.
• Our judges will choose the top 8-10 best acts to perform on the ship. The winner will be chosen live by our cruise guests. The top prize will be a free stateroom on our 2027 cruise.

MSC Booking Numbers—Coming Soon
You’ll receive your MSC booking number by email from our team soon. Here’s what to know:

• What do you need your booking number for?
  • You will use it to purchase add-ons for your cruise. Things like excursions, internet packages, drink packages, etc.
• What to watch for:
  • The accurate source of information about your reservation is our internal reservation system. If you log into MSC with your booking number, you may potentially see inaccurate information at first. Don’t be concerned—our team will verify and ensure that all the correct information is entered into MSC’s system. There is no reason to call our team, OR MSC customer service. With a charter, the MSC customer service can not make any changes. Our team will take care of it.
  • You will probably also start to receive marketing emails from MSC about upgrades, packages, etc. Ignore those. They do not apply to a charter.

Marriage Certificates and Wedding Pictures: THANK YOU to the 1,700+ of you who have sent in your wedding pictures! If you haven’t yet, please complete the WEDDING PICTURE FORM soon so you don’t miss out on the celebrations. We don’t want you to miss out!

BIG ANNOUNCEMENT!!

And NOW, we can officially announce that we will be attempting a GUINNESS WORLD RECORD during our sailing. Only with your help can we break the Guinness World Record for the Largest Marriage Vow Renewal Ceremony!!

In order to participate, we need one more thing—your marriage certificate or license. To be included in the Guinness World Record, we must have a photo of your marriage certificate on file. Your certificate stays secure in our system, will not be shared, and will be deleted after the event. You cannot be counted in the world record without it. Use this MARRIAGE CERTIFICATE FORM to send us the photo. Even if only those who sent in their wedding pictures also send us their marriage certificate, we could break the record. But we would love it if everyone who participates in the vow renewal ceremony were counted.

Finally, The Referral Plan CLOSES September 30th: We only have a few staterooms left. This is the last month to use your referral code, so don’t miss your last chance to invite friends!

For those who are already asking, we are working on details for the 2027 LLYMI cruise and hope to share more later this fall.

Here’s the exciting part–we plan to celebrate YOUR anniversary, no matter when it is!! That’s right, we’re celebrating the anniversaries of all 2,500+ couples on board. But you need to complete THIS FORM!!

Main Session times have been assigned. If you’d like to choose a different time, please call our team to check availability, but please note that this must be done by the end of August.

Your citizenship info is needed by our team.  This is a benefit to you and makes everyone’s check-in so much easier. Call our team if you haven’t provided it yet.

MSC Booking Numbers are coming this Fall.  We know you're excited—and we are too! You can expect booking numbers to arrive by mid-fall (possibly even sooner). Once they're available, you’ll be able to purchase add-ons like excursions, beverage packages, and more.

No need to reach out—we promise to notify you as soon as they’re ready. Thanks for your patience and understanding!

Sharing a few details—like a wedding photo, a current picture, your wedding date, and a special song if you have one—will allow us to personalize your celebrations in a truly memorable way.

Choose Your Main Session Time and Venue

If you need a full explanation of this, go back and watch May’s update found HERE. The bottom line is that if you have a Yacht Club, Aurea, or Fantastica experience, you need to choose your main session venue and time. You can do this by emailing the team at lovelikeyoumeanit@familylife.com, going into your RezMagic account, or calling the reservation team.  

Here are the options for times and locations of the main session:

• Group A Panorama Theater / 4:00–5:15 PM
• Group A World Theater / 4:00–5:15 PM
• Group B Panorama Theater / 6:00–7:15 PM
• Group B World Theater / 6:00–7:15 PM
• Group C Panorama Theater / 8:00–9:15 PM
• Group C World Theater / 8:00–9:15 PM

Your May newsletter has crucial information about three topics: Main Session Times, Celebrating YOUR Anniversaries, and our Countdown to Sell Out Sale. Watch Tim’s full explanation video above.

Main Session Times

“Main Sessions” on the Love Like You Mean It Cruise are the teaching/worship sessions we have most evenings on the ship. Historically, the majority of guests want to attend these sessions. With the number of people on the ship and the size of the venues, it requires everyone to be assigned to a specific session time so they can plan their dinner and other activities around it.

Tim gives a full explanation of how that will work this year in his VIDEO mentioned above. Here are the specific times and locations of the main session options:

• Group A Panorama Theater / 4:00–5:15 PM
• Group A World Theater / 4:00–5:15 PM
• Group B Panorama Theater / 6:00–7:15 PM
• Group B World Theater / 6:00–7:15 PM
• Group C Panorama Theater / 8:00–9:15 PM
• Group C World Theater / 8:00–9:15 PM

If you are a Bella experience guest, you’re all set - your session will be assigned, and you don’t need to do anything. If you are a Fantastica, Aurea, or Yacht Club guest, you must CHOOSE your session time and venue.

• Special Notes:
  • Fantastica Guests: Pick a session that doesn’t conflict with your assigned dining time.
  • Aurea & Yacht Club Guests: Since you will have My Choice dining, choose a main session that aligns with your dining plans; main session times are fixed and cannot be changed.
  • If you are planning on attending the same session as a friend or family member, coordinate with them before making your selection.
• How to choose:
  • Email lovelikeyoumeanit@familylife.com with your choice OR log into your RezMagic account, where you can choose. Each guest cabin has to make their choice. We can not do any groups.

Celebrating YOUR Anniversaries

We NEED (not just want) to receive from every couple: a wedding picture, a current picture, your wedding date, and your wedding song or other song, you consider “your song” if you have one. Anything received will only be used for anniversary celebration activities on the ship. Check out Tim’s video for a more detailed explanation.

We have an easy way for you to send those to us digitally. Use THIS FORM to send us the information and photos. We can not receive it via email or physical pictures. Let our team know if you have difficulties with the form.

Countdown to Sell Out Sale

We will launch our Countdown to Sell Out Sale on June 1st, giving $400 off any stateroom. The sale will go through June 30th unless we sell out before then. We are approaching 85% full, so get your referral codes to those you still want to invite. Watch the website for updates in June on how full we are.

The FamilyLife Cruise Director, Tim Bell, and the amazing Reservation Team Director, Jenifer Eberle were onboard for the MSC World America’s Inauguration sailing last week!!! You can watch their short update video above.

Here are a few reminders / updates for you this month:

• You only have a few more days to use your referral code and save your friends a little extra cash. Stateroom prices go up on May 1st! Hurry, we are almost 80% FULL! Stateroom credits will be applied to your account in June.
• Did you see the exciting additions to our lineup? FamilyLife Founder’s and past President Dennis and Barbara Rainey will be joining us along with Bob Lepine the longtime Co-host of FamilyLife Today. They are excited to join us for FamilyLife’s 50th and LLYMI’s 15th anniversaries. We’ve also added Montell and Kristin Jordan as speakers for 2026.
• The Cruise Team will be sailing on the World America in a few weeks planning the details of next year’s cruise. Watch our social media for video updates and possible live broadcasts while we are on board.
• Start rounding up your favorite wedding picture, a current picture, and your wedding song if you had one. We will tell you what to do with them next month.

The 2026 monthly update newsletters have begun!!! You can watch a short update video from the FamilyLife Cruise Director above.

The important updates and reminders for this month include:

• You only have a few more days to use your referral code and save your friends a little extra cash during our Cruise Madness March Sale. The sale ends Monday, and while the referral codes don’t expire, the discounts will not match the Cruise Madness pricing after the 17th. Hurry, we are almost 70% FULL!
• If you have reserved an Aurea experience stateroom, but you want to be able to eat dinner with your friends in the Fantastica dining rooms, we can accommodate that. Make sure you know if your friends have early or late dining and give our team a call.
• If you are new to charters, some differences from regular cruises can be confusing. One difference is you will not receive your MSC booking number until we upload our manifest to MSC later this year. More details will come in the months ahead.
