A son of two pastors, Gene Moore grew up surrounded by music and the church. Initially, Moore intended to pursue broadcasting as his career, but he began to drift back to gospel in his early twenties. He worked as a youth pastor and praise & worship leader, eventually signing with Motown Gospel in October 2013. Over the next few years, he worked as a supporting vocalist on-stage and in the studio, while assembling material for his first album. “The Future”, finally arrived in July 2017, followed by “Tunnel Vision” in 2019. “My objective in putting out Tunnel Vision,” Gene said, “is for people’s faith to be strengthened, their hope restored, and their dreams renewed.”
Gene and his wife, Lashanna, make their home in Houston, TX.
